Kathy Baxley

Born and raised in Micanopy, FL Kathy spent many hours around cars while growing up, watching her father Andrew Graham race his car. She was even voted Miss Lake City Speedway in 1973. She was also a huge NASCAR fan.

Kathy married Artie, whom she met in high school, in 1981. They have two sons, Jason and Dustin. Dustin now manages Performance Transmission and A/C’s day-to-day operations.

Kathy began working at Performance Transmission and A/C in 2001. Her job has always been to “do whatever it takes to help the business succeed.” From cleaning, and taking out the trash, to booking appointments, answering phone calls and bookkeeping, Kathy continues to work hard.

Kathy has over 16 years’ experience working as an educator for Pre-K special needs children. She has the biggest, kindest and most generous heart of anyone you will ever meet.

When not working, you can find Kathy enjoying life in a variety of ways. These include:

• Being with Artie out on the water in their boat fishing
• Watching Gator football
• Traveling to boat and car shows
• Teaching, baking, and swimming with Drew
• Simply hanging out with friends by her pool in Crystal River
