Ben is an Ohio native. He lived in Kentucky before moving to Florida as a child. Ben’s father was a mechanic and machinist. Consequently, Ben grew up building and fixing all sorts of mechanical things.

Ben started his auto mechanic training in shop class while attending high school in Jacksonville. He later attended GM’s and Chevron’s auto training schools. Ben received even more education at the Santa Fe College Automotive Program.

Ben and his wife, Marie, have been married for almost 30 years. Ben has three grown children, a half dozen grandkids and a couple of great-grandkids!

Our most veteran employee, Ben joined Performance Transmission and A/C in September of 2006. After 13 years of full-time hard work Ben recently retired. His knowledge, dedication and his humor will be greatly missed.
